Backyard Must-Haves for this Summer!

Let’s talk #backyardgoals this summer. Whether your backyard is your personal oasis for relaxation or a hotspot for summer entertaining, here are a few things to add to your space to make it picture-perfect.⁣ ⁣⁣

-No matter the size of your space, have a few comfortable chairs to help the buyer envision the ultimate space for relaxation.
-Add lighting. You can find cost-efficient garden lights on Amazon and they add so much ambiance.

-Accessorize with pillows. You know the rule, right? You can never have too many throw pillows 😉-When in doubt, always add greenery. Plants are a must! You can DIY this or hire a professional to beautify your space.

-Finally, if your outdoor space is large enough and sees direct sun, be sure to have a pergola or even a sturdy umbrella to provide ample shade and help with temperature control.

Not only is a beautiful outdoor space a major luxury during the summer, it can actually increase the ROI when you sell your home.

These are my DIY tips, but if you’re considering a bigger backyard renovation, send me a message and I’d be glad to refer you to a contractor landscape architect who can help you get started!
